I have received the below request for assistance from Fountain City

Attorney Chad Woolley regarding the Native American Church. I know this is

not the first time this organization has come up in Utah. Please see

Chad's request and, if you have information that may be useful to him,

contact him directly at cwoolley@me.com. Please do not reply to the sender

    of this e-mail.

    Utah Prosecution Council

    Mark:

We have a branch of the Oklevueha Native American Church (

http://nativeamericanchurches.org/) setting up operations in Fountain

Green. Apparently, Mr. Mooney has had dealings with the authorities in

several Utah jurisdictions. I was wondering if you know who is the best

contact to get some background and ideas of dealing with this crowd. The

police chief, Chad Huff, is looking for some help and direction. He has a

meeting with the city council tonight to give them a report.

As the city prosecutor, I could use some advice from those who have more

knowledge about how their "sacraments" are protected and where the limits

of constitutional protections begin and end.

    Thanks for any help!

    Chad Woolley
